Google is still working on Android 16. The so-called leak about the Samsung One UI 8 roadmap has appeared. It also provides a preview of the devices. This could get the update and at what time Galaxy may release them.

It should be mentioned that this is not an official Samsung announcement. Scheduling can vary in the case of an update that is months away. Nevertheless, in terms of accuracy, the leak has a fair indication of Samsung’s update plan.

Flagships First

The leaked document shows that Samsung will focus on its latest flagship devices. Assuming its release at that time, the Galaxy S25 lineup should be one of the first to get the stable One UI 8 release. This goes along with Samsung’s history of releasing significant updates to its latest high-end models first.

The next-generation foldables are followed by Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. Since the popularity of foldables is on the rise, making sure they are updated with the newest software promptly is a priority.

S-Series and Older Foldables

This rollout will later be extended to flagships of the past generation. The next phase is scheduled as Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6/Z Flip 6. This stage normally commences a few weeks to two months following the first rollout of the flagship.

The waves of this popular Galaxy S23 series, and maybe the S22 series, may be a part of this or the next wave. This is subject to a three-to four-year update commitment by Samsung on older flagships.

A-Series and Tablets

Samsung typically targets low-end products, the Galaxy A, after flagships. Newer or pricier A-series phones. This includes Galaxy A56 and A76, which will also begin to get One UI 8 in the later phases of the initial rollout, according to the leak.

A-series devices older than this are likely to come later in the months. Tablets by Samsung should also be updated, usually following the mid-range phone schedule or a bit later.

What This Means for Users

It provides Galaxy users with a rough deadline of Android 16 with One UI 8. Older flagships and mid-range flagships may have to wait longer to see the update, with users of newer flagships being able to expect it sooner.

Like usual, the official statement of Samsung will be the ultimate word. However, the leak is offering a thrilling peek into more features, some minor design changes, and better performance.

Conclusion

The One UI 8 rollout timetable leak provides a rough, but informative look at how Samsung is planning to roll out Android 16.

They are only guesses and could be confirmed only by Samsung. The approach is appropriately based on the priority list of the company.

This leak is a hint to millions of Galaxy users that they will not have to wait too long before a new experience, with AI enhancements, comes along.
